In this multifaceted role, you will play a crucial part in assisting merchants with technical issues related to credit card processing, business software integration, and managing our company's technical infrastructure. · Serve as a technical expert, assisting merchants with credit card processing issues.
· Collaborate closely with merchants and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges related to software integration.
· Offer guidance on optimizing payment processing systems for improved efficiency and security.
· Manage and maintain our company's technical infrastructure to ensure smooth operations.
· Monitor and troubleshoot network, server, and cloud-based systems.
· Evaluate and recommend improvements to our infrastructure for efficiency and scalability.
· Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to provide cutting-edge solutions.
· Document and maintain detailed records of support interactions in company-provided CRM.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience) preferred.
· Proven experience in technical operations, especially in the context of credit card processing, software integration, and infrastructure services.
· Strong understanding of data communication protocols (eg TCP/IP, SFTP, HTTPS, SSL, TLS, POP, IMAP, SMTP) and related technologies used in business communication and ecommerce payment processing systems.
· Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
· Familiarity with popular ecommerce platforms, payment gateways, and infrastructure management tools.
· Experience with website development and maintenance.
· Demonstrated HTML experience.
· Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Certified Payment Professional, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator) a plus.
